Anything that would broaden my ability to be involved in the community would be welcome. While I am pretty technosavvy for an "old biddy" I am always in the market for learning experiences. Every new tool or experience gives me more opportunity for growth and connection to people who share my interests.

A friend called me and told me I should check out the sheep at Last Chance Road, west of Walla Walla. She said there was one black sheep amongst the white. Turns out there were a couple of black sheep but the were pretty far away from the fence where I was. I had to wait until there were some heads aimed sort of towards me instead of all bottoms before I started clicking away.
There's something about grazing sheep that is timeless. And they could be in any country around the world. Universal would be the word.

Early in December I drove over to Kennewick. On the way back I noticed a field in which the irrigation water had been left on. The ice created some pretty cool sculptures.
