- I'm a newly minted PhD who has gotten back into journalism after conducting interdisciplinary research on primate behavior. It's interesting work, but not well funded. When I've got time I spend it creating primate themed art and plantable paper, which I sell on etsy. I have two dogs, both Newfoundlands. One's a teenager and the other's still a baby.

Irrigation Ice Sculpture

Today exhibited a lot of unusual conditions. After local fog lifted I headed to Walla Walla for groceries and was amazed by the presence of low lying clouds and ice created by irrigation in freezing temperatures. I just had to shoot a few scenes because I hadn't seen this phenomenon many times in the past.
