My family and I enjoyed this Christmas 2008 here in Walla Walla. It was truly a "White Christmas". We sledded, built a snowman, and had a great day. Here it is now the 27th and the 40 degree air temperature is melting the snow very quickly. The roads are slush and I'm glad I did not have to go anywhere today. Being from Pasadena Ca. where the Christmas days can sometimes be into the high 80s, I do not regret moving the family here.

I grew up in Echo Park/Silver Lake and then lived in East L.A. Just before we moved here we lived in Burbank.
Great to find another Southern California transplant. Our family moved here a couple of years ago from Los Angeles. We really dig the change of scenery. And loved the snow (although we had some water seepage into our house.) Yeah 80 degree Chrsitmases just don't cut it.
